MICOMME HOSPITAL NON-INVASIVE VENTILATOR ST-30H with AST-PREMIUM TECHNOLOGY
Description
Non-invasive ventilation (NIV) is the use of breathing support administered through a face mask, nasal mask, or a helmet. Air, usually with added oxygen, is given through the mask under positive pressure; generally the amount of pressure is alternated depending on whether someone is breathing in or out.
Non-invasive ventilation (NIV) is the delivery of oxygen (ventilation support) via a face mask and therefore eliminating the need of an endotracheal airway. NIV achieves comparative physiological benefits to conventional mechanical ventilation by reducing the work of breathing and improving gas exchange.
Application
The patients with known or suspected COVID-19 with respiratory failure should be intubated and ventilated early in the disease course without the option for less invasive treatments, including non-invasive ventilation (NIV)
Fewer complications: NIV reduces the number of possible complications by 62% and treatment errors by 50%.
Better chance of survival: A meta-analysis suggested that NIV improved survival in acute care settings – and that it is more beneficial when applied earlier rather than as a rescue therapy.
Advantage
Max flow:210L/min
Maximum inspiratory pressure: 30cm H2O
AST-Premium technology will monitor patients’ every single respiration, response immediately to synchronize patients’ breath through sensitivity trigger by detecting flow, pressure and waveform changing.
